What is the mission of the Multicultural Play Therapy Center?
The primary mission of the Center is to provide education and supervision experiences for professional play therapists in both school and community settings in this region. Through supervision, training, and evidence-based research, the Center will support the emotional growth of children from diverse cultures through the process of play therapy.
What are the admission requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy?
- A master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology from an accredited university or a current student admitted to the Department of Counseling
- Online application to Graduate Admissions accompanied by the application fee in effect.
- GPA required for entry into a master’s degree program.
- Official transcripts
- A statement of purpose as to why the applicant seeks admission to the program
